The taste, light blue color, and aroma are the decisive factors for the taste of black tea, but milk tea can change its taste depending on the choice of milk.

When it comes to tea leaves, using unique ones will make the taste milder.

Tea specialty store Dimbura is a Ceylon tea specialty store, so let's choose tea leaves from that!

The Ruhuna region (the southernmost tip of Sri Lanka) is characterized by its low elevation and black tea leaves.

There is no quality season, and tea picking is done about 15 times a year in a cycle of about 20 days.

The aroma of burnt brown sugar is not found in teas made in other parts of Sri Lanka. Deeply smoky tea leaves from the Ruhuna region make milk tea that is rich in flavor and flavor even when milk is added.

It's a milk tea that makes you feel calm when you drink it.

How to brew delicious milk tea

〇 Two heaping teaspoons of tea leaves.

This time, we used UVA (Uva) BOP.

〇 Pour hot water (350cc) containing a lot of oxygen into the pot vigorously.

If you boil the water too much, the oxygen will be lost and you will not be able to make delicious black tea, so this is one of the most important points.

The guideline for delicious brewing is when the tea leaves float when hot water is poured into the pot. If the tea leaves sink to the bottom of the pot when hot water is poured, it will be difficult to enjoy the desired taste and aroma.

Steam slowly for 3-4 minutes.

〇Put about 20cc of room temperature milk into a well-heated teacup, and add black tea to the 9th minute of the cup. By doing so, you can drink warm milk tea.

Tea with milk is ready with a beautiful milk tea color!

milk for milk tea

Milk selection is important to make delicious milk tea.

Recommended milk is pasteurized at 63-65°C for 30 minutes.

Other than high temperature sterilization, it can be said that it is okay.

Pasteurized milk is good for milk tea because it has a burnt protein smell and no sulfur smell. The reason why you don't warm the milk when using it for milk tea is because it doesn't smell like sulfur.

Pasteurized milk makes for a refreshing milk tea without the sticky feeling in your mouth.

Western confectionery with plenty of fat will flow smoothly, so you can eat sweets and sandwiches smoothly.
