Tea Specialty Shop Dimbula

We are a small black tea store in Shonan, opened by my father, Takeshi Isobuchi, on December 15, 1979 in Kamakura.
In February 2019, my father passed away and his daughter, Taika Isobuchi, became the second owner.

We carefully taste each tea leaf and buy directly from reliable Sri Lankan tea factories.
We also focus on our own blended teas using Sri Lankan black tea.
We hope you will enjoy our carefully selected tea leaves and food, as well as the homey atmosphere that makes you want to say "I'm home.

Please note that we are in no way affiliated with the Tea Isobuchi Company, Ltd.
My father, Takeshi Isobuchi, ran the business for many years before his death, but it is now under someone else's management, and we are no longer involved in any way, including the tea leaves and management.
Please do not confuse us.

Original import of Sri Lankan tea

At “Tea Specialty Shop Dimbula”, the owner, Yasuka Isobuchi, directly purchases tea leaves from a factory in Sri Lanka.

We do not list the name of the tea plantation. This is the will of Takeshi Isobuchi, the founder's father.

My father was always worried about the bankruptcy of the tea plantation factory due to the shift in popularity of the tea plantation.

I think it's my father's kindness to not write it down.

Please understand that this is an initiative to protect the tea garden.

Notice to customers

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of our tea store, Dimbula.
Three years have passed since my father, Takeshi Isobuchi, passed away, and we have received many inquiries from customers.
The "Tea Isobuchi Company" founded by my father and our store "Tea Specialty Dimbula" are now under separate ownership and have no relationship whatsoever.
Dimbula Tea Specialty Store Dimbula is a direct importer and seller of carefully selected tea leaves from reliable tea gardens, following in the footsteps of my father.

We are very confused by the fact that the name "Isobuchi" has become a household word and that there are so many different products and matters related to black tea.
Please be aware that there are many similar products and matters that are being sold under the name of "ISOBUCHI".
Sincerely yours
