[DIMBULA dimbura]

The Dimbula region, located in the southwestern part of Sri Lanka's central mountainous region, has tea plantations that stretch from middle grown to high grown at an altitude of 1,200 meters.
In Dimbula, the monsoon that blows from January to February hits the mountainous area and brings dry wind. This season is the quality season, and the tea leaves have a strong astringency and a flowery scent like roses. At other times of the year, the quality of the tea leaves does not change throughout the year, and you can enjoy tea leaves of stable quality with no fluctuations in taste.
Dimbula leaves do not have the strong aroma of Darjeeling tea or the richness of Assam tea. In terms of individuality, it loses out to other tea leaves, but the orthodox taste is the biggest attraction of Dimbula tea.
