Weighing tea
For some reason, I like measuring, and when I traveled to India, Sri Lanka, England, and China, I collected the measuring instruments I saw in markets, tea shops, factories, and so on. These days, all weighing is digital, and things with memory are outdated, but I like how the needle sways, the scale goes down, and I can feel how my fingertips adjust and feel, such as whether it's a little more or less. When appraising black tea, I still use a small balance scale to weigh the tea leaves.
3g of tea leaves and 150cc of hot water are used as standards for appraisal, but this 3g is not a weight. It's troublesome to weigh each item, but it's a good feeling when something troublesome develops attachment and feelings. ~~~~~~~~
Today, I'm going to talk about tea to the very young generation. Dokkyo University's ``Food Culture and Human Life'' Food around the world as seen from tea.
