This is a picture of yesterday's tea class "tea food research course" students when they went to Sri Lanka at the beginning of last month. The blue sky, the green jungle, the market full of fruits, the delicious curry, the delicious tea, the first ride at the elephant park...the appraisal at the tea factory and the tea-picking experience, all of which were discussed with a keen eye. From July 2nd to 9th, there will be a Sri Lankan tea tour with me again this year. . . This year, we will change our itinerary to visit the World Heritage Site of Sigiriya, then the ancient city of Kandy, the tea plantation town of Nuwara Eliya, and the Uva region. Sri Lanka was also hit by the 2004 tsunami. Japan and Sri Lanka are countries that share the same sadness, but I would like to feel more connected than ever before on this year's Sri Lanka tour.
