"Importing new tea before the Sri Lanka tour" Appraisal of the sample that arrived this morning
2009 Spring Tea Class・Beginner class started today. This year we have 18 classes.
At the same time, Mr. Ranjit, who returned to Japan, also sent me a sample of new tea, which I appraised before starting the class.
The timing was just right, as I was able to let the students see how the appraisal was going.
The shipment is next month, but I will have to appraise it many times before then.
Timing is important to buy fresh and not blended teas as the weather in Sri Lanka is a factor.
This is when Mr. Ranjit is most nervous and busy.
