I also received the first flush (May 25th) and drank it.
Great!
In particular, the second flush has a strong floral scent, is well fermented, and has the weight and richness of black tea.
It has enough texture even if you put milk in it.
"Benihomare" is an old variety that has been around since the Taisho era.
I hear that it is a breed made for domestic black tea.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of them come back to the market!
