四大嗜好品にみる嗜みの文化史

The Cultural History of Taste as Seen in the Four Major Luxury Goods

Panel discussion with Dr. Sakae Kadoyama

The day before yesterday, I had a phone conversation with Dr. Sakae Kadoyama .

The symposium will be held as follows. I received that guidance.

Tobacco and Salt Museum 30th Anniversary Commemorative Symposium "Culture of Taste in Four Major Luxury Goods"

Date and time: Saturday, September 20, 2008, 13:00-18:00

Venue JT Art Hall Affinis (2-2-1 JT Building, Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo) The four major luxury items are alcohol, tea, coffee, and tobacco.

The talk with the teacher was very philosophical about what kind of role people have in the global spread of tea and how we can expand the spirit of hospitality.

I would really like to attend, but I am unable to go on that day because I am returning to Narita on the same day as my Sri Lanka tour starting on September 13th.

If you are interested, please join us. You can listen to the story of the teacher's heart tea.
