Sri Lanka tour report Higashi Ginza Mother Leaf
It's been a week since I returned from Sri Lanka.
Today, we had "Sunday Tea Time" at Mother Leaf in Higashi Ginza, and many customers came.
I have just returned. First, a report on the Sri Lanka tour, and how to make tea using Sri Lankan special spices.
I talked about how to make original masala and how to enjoy it.
After all, in Sri Lanka, I visited a school in a tea plantation, as you can see in this photo.
I was most impressed.
I will never forget what I said to my teacher at Uva Elementary School.
“Children come to school from the age of 5. If you ask them what their dreams are, they will say they want a big loaf of bread or new shoes. You will be able to have big dreams that lead to foreign countries, the universe and the future.”
If you don't have a lot of knowledge, you can't even dream big.
I thought that cutting-edge education and knowledge were necessary for children to engage in the tea industry of the future.
I hope that one day the children of Sri Lanka's tea gardens will create the future "tea medicine".
I hope that children's dreams will be born from a few books.
