Sri Lankan Tea Trip・・・No.5 Nuwara Eliya Chocolate Chocolate Cake~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Love Carey TE in Nuwara Eliya was the first tea plantation I visited when I was 25 years old. About 30 years ago, the chocolate cake I ate at the tea center here was so delicious that I enjoy it every time I stop by. . This chocolate cake was made by the wife of the factory manager at the time, and served as a service to customers. It was gradually passed down to the staff here, and they still serve it when they enjoy tea at the tea center. (There is a charge now)... This chocolate cake is different from the taste you eat in Japan. At Dimbura, we got that recipe and put it out as "choco chocolate cake" in the store! Outside the tea center, there is a garden overlooking tea plantations, where foreign guests enjoy tea. Tea time while watching the tea garden in the green heals the fatigue of the trip, freshly made Nuwara Eliya and chocolate cake create the best hospitality. . . Ranjit always eats this chocolate cake here, drinks tea and takes a break. An important sweet spot for tea tours!
