Donation of books to a tea plantation school August 26 Meeting with Sri Lanka Minister of Education
From August 25th, I will visit Sri Lanka with Mr. Arai, Advisor of Kirin Beverage .
The plan to donate books to a school in a tea plantation in Sri Lanka, which I introduced before, will finally start, and the presentation ceremony will be held at a hotel in Colombo on the 26th.
From Sri Lanka, the Minister of Education will attend the event, which has generated a great response in Sri Lanka.
As you know, the image of Sri Lanka has deteriorated due to Tamil terrorism, but this time, it is very important that we, the Sinhalese people in Japan, and the government give presents to the children at the tea plantation school where Tamils work. When it comes to deepening fellowship, the locals appreciate it.
We are just grateful and hope that the next generation will continue to pick and make tea in peace and tomorrow .
On the 28th we will visit a 96 elementary school in Dambaten, Uva.
I'm looking forward to hearing that everyone is waiting. . . I will report back to everyone after I return to Japan. I'm going to Okayama for a seminar, and then I'm leaving.
Well then.
