Tea time at Lipton Bungalow 
On the way back to Colombo, we visited the most famous Thomas Lipton factory in Uva Provence and a bungalow. In 1890 Lipton visited Ceylon and acquired a number of vast Uva tea estates. In 1891, tea sent from his direct management of Dunbatten tea set a record price in London, making Lipton tea the best in the world both in name and reality. The famous slogan "DIRECT FROM THE TEA GARDEN TO THE TEA POT" remains.

Outside the window, you can see a long distance English garden, beautifully tended flowers and green trees, as if you are in England. Winds that come across the valley pass through the tea gardens and carry the scent of greenery. . Fresh Uva tea, sandwiches, Lipton's gardens and mountains. No matter how many times I see it, no matter how many times I come, I am impressed!
