Rain in the tea garden - Sri Lanka

However, the tea gardens at high altitudes have mountain weather, so you never know when it will suddenly rain. The director of the tea garden (male) is called Kangani, and he always carries an umbrella like this. In Sri Lanka, the people who carry umbrellas even when it's sunny are the matchmakers in black clothes and the tea farmer Kangani. A few decades ago, Japanese folding umbrellas were very popular with women.
I often brought it as a souvenir to the wife of the manager of the tea garden. It was appreciated not as an umbrella but for a parasol. . . .
When it rains in the tea garden, the temperature suddenly drops, and the tea pickers seem to be cold. Even if I wear a vinyl rain cover, my clothes are soaking wet. If it's raining outside like today, you can see the tea pickers.
