Fujian Black Tea Tour・・・No.3
It was raining when I visited 'Shozan Kotane' black tea in Tokimura, Mt. Wuyi. It rained quite heavily, but it stopped as soon as we arrived at the village.
In 1630, the world's first tea was born in this village.
It was Mr. Wu Jue Nong, a master of Chinese tea who made it known to the world~~~
Shozan means Mt. Wuyi, and small seeds grow wild and are rare. 
Mr. Jiang, the 24th generation, has revived the "Shozan Small Tea", which had once disappeared from the world as a black tea of illusion, and now exports it to France, Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Even in Japan, it has gained popularity as the original black tea of Lapsang Souchong. 
It is now 18 years ago that I became the second Japanese person to visit this village after the war, spent two days talking with Mr. Jiang, and introduced him to his phantom black tea. "Two Tea Kings" (Chikuma Shobo)
