The Sri Lanka Festival was held in Yoyogi, Tokyo on the 11th (Sat) and 12th (Sun), and this was my first time participating in the event. When I got off at Harajuku Station and passed Meiji Jingu-mae, I could hear the music from afar, with an advertising balloon with the Sri Lanka Festival written on it swaying in the high sky. I was so happy that I trotted to the venue! ! There are many curry shops, tea shops, sari shops, jewelry shops, the trendy Ayurveda, and even a fortune-telling shop. On the main stage, women dance Sri Lankan folk dances. It was a lot of fun with lots of people. "Sinha", who graduated from Dimbura's tea school and is now opening a shop in Kannai, Yokohama, also opened a shop at this event. When I saw the happy faces of the couple and said hello, my husband immediately gave me a cold iced tea, and my wife gave me a cold cut pineapple and chili salt. I received it at once, and my mind and body became 100% Sri Lankan. The shop full of smiles of the couple was full of kindness and warmth, and I felt really happy. I would like to visit the shop in Kannai again.
