Sunday Tea Plantation Sri Lanka Tour September 13-20

Sunday Tea Garden Sri Lanka

It was the last Sunday of the summer vacation, and it was sunny!

It rained heavily last night, so I was worried about the weather today.

It's blue sky now, so you can go out in a good mood for the new semester starting tomorrow. . .

Even in Sri Lanka's tea garden, the new semester starts in September.

The people who work at the tea plantation have Saturdays and Sundays off, but sometimes they work only in the morning on Saturdays, the old-fashioned half-don. Saturday is also a day off when tea leaves are scarce, and is usually the day when a week's wages are paid.

It is also the most enjoyable day for the people of the tea plantation, as there are markets and stalls outside the factories.

Sundays are a good time to rest, but you can often see them having fun playing soccer, cricket, and hurleyball on the playground.

From 13th to 20th of September, visit Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Uva and tea plantations.
