想い出のインド洋とスリランカ

Memories of the Indian Ocean and Sri Lanka

It's been a year since I moved to Fujisawa, but on my day off, I went out to sea for the first time.

The wind was strong that day, and the waves were white, violent, and rough. At that moment, I suddenly remembered the scenery of the Indian Ocean that I saw when I went to Sri Lanka three years ago. I was.

At the same time, I remembered various things such as the experience of picking tea with the tea pickers at the tea plantation in Nuwara Eliya, which is about 1800mm above sea level, and the taste of the freshly made tea I drank there. I'm full.

After that, I returned home and had tea time for the first time in a long time .

Tea is grown, made, and brought to us over time by the hands of many people from faraway lands.

And the moment you drink it, it fills you with genuine happiness.

I would like to always be grateful for the fact that everything we eat and wear is made by hand.

Today in Sri Lanka, under the bright sun, the tea pickers will be smiling and picking many new leaves one by one.

Dimbula will hold Tea Seminars and Sunday Tea Times.

There are still some seats left, so please join us. We'll be expecting you.

June 17th (Sun) 10:00-12:00.
