As Isobuchi has announced in his blog for the past few days, Mr. Ranjit, a Sri Lankan staff member, is visiting Japan.
On May 14th, I also attended the “Tea and Food Research Department R Class” and received a lecture by Mr. Ranjit.
Actually, I've been talking to Ranjit on the phone since I joined the company, but this is the first time I've met him! I was really looking forward to it.
The lecture was attended by many seniors who graduated from the graduate school, and it was a lively question-and-answer session about the tea situation in Sri Lanka.
The next theme for the Tea and Food Graduate School R class is “Knowledge and how to use spices”.
Alumni are also welcome to attend!
Please contact us.
In addition, the next “Tea and Food Research Course S Class” is scheduled to start in August .
In addition , May 26th is approaching the opening of the "Tea Class / Beginner's Class" . We are still accepting applications.
If you are interested, please hurry. After the tea class, I had the opportunity to have dinner with Ranjit, Isobuchi, and company staff.
When I came to, I was surprised to see Mr. Ranjit eating sashimi with chopsticks.
(She likes scallions...) Above all, I was impressed by her ability to converse in Japanese without any sense of discomfort. It was a moment when I thought that someday I would like to meet Mr. Ranjit in Sri Lanka.
We are also looking for participants for the "Sri Lanka Tour" where Mr. Ranjit serves as a guide. Please feel free to contact us.
