The Mystery of Pu-erh Black Tea

Pu- erh Black Tea

I made more than 30 postcards from photos of Yunnan.

Each time, I make postcards out of the photos I take and put them in the Dimbula store.

Xishuangbanna's tea is picked from ancient trees in the same way that ethnic minorities pick wild plants, so the amount of pu-erh black tea to make from now on is small and expensive.

Therefore, in the outskirts of Pu'er, there are vast expanses of well-maintained tea gardens with terraced fields, as shown in this photo.

The tea leaves are still picked by hand here, but this tea garden is still new, more than 30 years old.

Tea picked by ethnic minorities is first slaughtered, lightly hand rubbed and dried.

This is called hair tea, and black tea is made by post-fermenting from here.

In order to make black tea faster than Mao tea, there is a tea that is slightly fermented.

This is called mature tea, and this is also black tea.

As for black tea, black tea can be obtained by oxidizing and fermenting after rubbing it well and then drying it.

This is the birth of pu-erh black tea that is darker and has a deeper taste.

There are many ways to make black tea, and it is not clear which one is the true one.

However, the finished black tea will have that unique flavor. Pu-erh city tea plantationTea picking in a vast tea garden
