Dimbula · The First Sunday Tea Time of 2010 Dimbula , celebrating its 31st year, will hold the first Sunday Tea Time of the year on Sunday , February 21st from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm . The annual seminar, held once every two months and six times a year, celebrated its 60th anniversary this year. This time, I am planning to report on the Sri Lankan tea tour that is taking place right now. I got a call from Isobuchi this morning, telling me that they are going from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Departure time is 6:30 in the morning. It was still dark and it was night, but the voice seemed to be very energetic and the tour was going well. It was six years ago when I first participated. Even now, the scenery, the temperature, the warmth of the people, the excitement of the tea picking experience, the deliciousness of the freshly brewed tea, and the extremely spicy curry are all precious memories that I will never forget. Last year, Sri Lanka experienced many changes, including the largest-ever strike by tea pickers, the end of long-standing ethnic conflicts, and the re-election of President Rajapakula this year. I will report my experience on the tour and the latest Sri Lankan information at Sunday tea time. We look forward to your participation. ☆February 21st (Sun) 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Participation fee: 2,500 yen (including tea and food ) Reservations can be made by phone or at the store.
