Freshly fried turmeric cookies and tea It's cold again today. I drink many cups of milk tea with masala in the morning. I just got a photo. (Even though I have a digital camera, I'm still filming.) It's the day after my arrival on February 7th, but since it's a Sunday, I can drive on National Highway 1 towards Kandy without any rush. On the way, we stopped at the famous pineapple village and ate a lot of salt and pepper. As expected, it's really good! However, I discovered something unexpected, and I was making unusual sweets at a stall set up in a corner of the restaurant. A lotus-shaped mold is dipped in coconut oil and turmeric powder, and dipped into the oil like a goldfish. . Then the yellow fried lotus cookies are ready. This is so fragrant and crispy and delicious! Everyone took one of these in their hands and sipped their hot milk tea. . . . Later, I walked around the streets of Nuwara Eliya with Mr. Ranjit looking for this type of goldfish fishing, but there was no such type. disappointing! I would like to buy it next time.
