Sri Lankan Tea Training・・・No.5 Nursery (young tea tree)
Nuwara Eliya's Pedro Tea Plantation extends as far as 28 kilometers from the factory. Growing a lot of tea trees in the tea garden, replanting them, changing the cultivation area, etc. will require young trees.
In this training, we visited a nursery called a nursery where young trees are grown and raised. 
A knife is cut from the base of the mother leaf with new buds, and then it is inserted into the soil and grown until roots grow. After about one year, it is transferred to the nursery and after three years, it can be planted in the tea plantation.
