Sri Lanka Information No.3

Yesterday, after visiting a tea factory in Dimbula, I moved to Kandy and stayed overnight at the Mahaweli Reach Hotel, where I always stay on tours.

Today, the second day of Kandy, we will visit tea gardens that we don't usually go to.

Yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Moon, and the moon was shining even in Japan and it was so beautiful! And full moon!
In Sri Lanka, the day of the full moon "Poya Day" is a national holiday, and alcohol and meat are prohibited.
I couldn't visit the tea pickers yesterday because of the holiday, so I'm sure you've met a lot of tea pickers today.

Isobuchi is very energetic and seems to be eating a lot of shrimp and fruits that cannot be eaten in Japan.
