I left Narita yesterday afternoon and arrived in Colombo at night local time. Stayed at a resort hotel in Negombo, a city a little north of Colombo.

On July 7th (Sunday), Tanabata in Japan, we are planning to leave Negombo and head to Dambulla.
Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, and Anuradhapura are cultural triangle areas where gorgeous dynasty culture flourished from ancient times.You can trace the history and footprints of Sri Lankan Buddhism such as the famous Sigiriya Rock, pagodas, Buddha statues, and cave temples.
This time, we will go to one of them, Dambulla, and visit the cave temples that have been worshiped for 2000 years! !
