Indian Tea Trip No.2
I left Narita for Delhi on October 8th. I was worried because my departure was delayed by about an hour and I had to transfer from Delhi to Kolkata.
Arrived in the evening around 6pm. . . Immediately transfer to Kolkata and depart.
Arrive at your hotel in Kolkata at midnight and get up at 3:30 am the next morning.
I boarded the 6:10am departure from Kolkata bound for Assam and Gahti.
And here is the beginning of each Assam overland route. . . . .
Gahati ~~~ Go east by bus in the direction of Myanmar until Jorhat. This distance was about 300 KM, and the trip took more than 6 hours.
Suddenly it is a scene of chai. In the town of Jorhat, we immediately jumped into a chai shop and everyone also tasted India for the time being.
Sweet scent of tea and milk, full of people.
Even if you make it or make it, it will be sold out in no time.
First of all, everyone drank chai instead of a toast and immersed themselves in the taste and aroma of Assam.
The most delicious thing was chai made by crushing ginger with the bottom of a glass cup and throwing it into the pot!
It was a moment of relief.
