British tea travelogue ... No. 2
Edinburgh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the night of my arrival (June 4th), even when I checked into the hotel, it was still faintly bright outside, and it got dark after 10pm.
There is a time difference of 8 hours, so in Japan it is past 6:00 in the morning.
I fell asleep as soon as I got into bed because my body was tired,
After about 3 hours, I wake up.
I managed to hold out until morning and had my first Edinburgh morning,
Breakfast is full English breakfast, tea is brought first, tea with milk. I also order toast at that time. It is a thin and crispy toast.
Egg dishes, bacon, beans, sausages, and since it's Scotland, haggis (a dish of minced sheep's internal organs) also came out.
After that, we finally headed to Edinburgh Castle, where the "Stone of Destiny" is located.
It's a little chilly, but the first day is sunny!
Edinburgh is called Din Edin, which means "fortress on the hill".
A fortress (castle) was built on top of a rock formed by rising lava.
Since the beginning of June when I visited, the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's accession to the throne has been celebrated day after day. . .
My heart and soul will soon be distracted by "Stone of Destiny" (SCOTLAND'S STONE OF DESTINY) .
