しまなみレモン能勢さんにお会いできて興奮気味です!

Excited to meet Shimanami Lemon Nose!

"Fell in love with Mr. Nose's bergamot!" sounds like the title of a book, but the charm of Mr. Nose's bergamot and Shimanami lemon is enormous! ︎

Mr. Nose rubbed the bergamot leaves in the field. The scent emanating from the leaves on the palm was magical.

I was able to suddenly meet Mr. Nose, whom I admired, and I was unusually excited to hear his story!

No, I got excited after a long time (laughs)

Earl Gray with bergamot flavor

Earl Gray is mostly scented with bergamot essential oil and synthetic fragrances to give it a strong scent.

As I have already told you about my constitution, I can't drink commercially available Earl Gray because I can't accept artificial scents.

At some point, I was able to buy domestic bergamot, and the first Earl Gray I ate was "Fresh Earl Grey."

Earl Gray in me is tea with real bergamot.

After tasting the deliciousness, I fell in love with Mr. Nose's bergamot (laughs).

Nose's rare organic soil

Real organic bergamot fields (mountains)? was shown.

When I was allowed to enter the field, the soil was fluffy and there were places where the soil was raised as if it had been plowed with a tractor.

If you ask me why this is the case

“Boars dig!” said Nose.

Pigs do not dig hard soil. It seems that the soil that uses chemical fertilizer is hard.

It was the work of a boar (*_*)

I learned for the first time that real organic soil is so soft, and I fell in love with Mr. Nose's lemon and bergamot.

Bergamot goes great with Ceylon tea

Looking at the history of Earl Gray, it imitates the scent of longan of Shengshan Shoshu, a black tea from Mount Wuyi, China. Longan is a citrus-scented Chinese fruit with lychee-like white flesh.

In Europe, bergamot from Sicily was used as a substitute for longan, which was difficult to obtain. Thus, bergamot flavored Earl Gray was born.

This is a long introduction, but I think Ceylon tea is the tea that matches the fresh scent of bergamot.

Especially, it is a Ceylon tea blended mainly with Kandy tea leaves. It's a Ceylon tea that doesn't interfere with the aroma of fresh bergamot.

It is a menu introduction of bergamot and lemon of tea specialty store Dimbura.

fresh earl gray tea

The scent of bergamot that fills my mouth is an earl gray scent that I have never felt before.

iced bergamot tea

In order to enjoy the aroma, we recommend drinking directly from the glass instead of the straw.

bergamot waffle

A special waffle that you can't taste anywhere else, with plenty of homemade bergamot jam and bergamot syrup.

lemon cream waffle

Fresh cream mixed with homemade lemon jam, grapefruits and grapefruit mints grown in the store soaked in syrup, and yogurt ice cream make for a refreshing waffle perfect for summer.

Sage double cheese scone with clotted cream and lemon jam

The combination of this scone and lemon jam is attractive because you can enjoy the change from a rich taste to a refreshing taste.

It's no exaggeration to say that it's a scone for lemon jam (laughs).

bergamot tea

The year before last, I made a lot of mistakes because the scent of bergamot was gone and the color of bergamot got worse, but last year I finally succeeded in making an original blended tea using natural bergamot. !

The staff carefully peeled the skin and blended it with several types of Ceylon tea.

However, if you dry the bergamot skin, it will become smaller than you think, so I couldn't make enough to sell in large quantities, so I was able to sell it only in the 2023 lucky box and at the store (*^-^*)

I'm thinking of making a few more this year!

Shimanami Lemon is my second home

I was able to meet Mr. Nose from Shimanami Lemon, and it was a short time, but I had a pleasant talk.

I could feel Nose's passion for organic farming, and it felt like that passion had reached me ^^;

I think I understand why I didn't use other farmers' citrus fruits.

The Setoda region is also my father's hometown.

Until now, I went to my father's place, but from now on, I would like to go to Nose's place and study bergamot, lemon, and other citrus fruits that I don't know yet, and enjoy developing them with black tea.

When I met Mr. Nose, I had an encounter that was very similar to the path of black tea that I am aiming for, and that it was filled with things that my father valued.

Shimanami Lemon is going to be my second hometown!

I'm sorry! (smile)

Excited and uncoordinated, I apologize for the strangely long sentence m(_ _)m
