Spices arrived from Sri Lanka

Good evening!

Good news today!

Finally from Sri Lanka! Finally!

Spices have arrived!

Spice arrived after 3 years

It's been three years. It's been the first time since I traveled to Sri Lanka on February 1, 2020, when Corona began to spread, that I got Sri Lankan spices.

At that time, I went to the spice market in Sri Lanka and bought a lot.

However, since then, I have been unable to purchase spices even if I request them to purchase them.

I was told that it was not a corona misfortune.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers due to the shortage of products.

importing spices

For me, importing tea leaves from Sri Lanka is difficult, but spices are also difficult in a different sense.

Without pesticide inspection and pest inspection, it cannot be transported into the country. Of course, it takes time and effort.

Until I arrived at the store and opened the bag, I was nervous.

I asked a reliable person in Sri Lanka, but I was nervous to death because I didn't buy it by seeing it with my own eyes!

Spices imported from Sri Lanka

The spices that arrived safely this time are Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom, dry ginger, etc.

Ceylon cinnamon had a good volume and a good scent.

This is dry ginger.

It looks quite different from the dry ginger that I used to use at the tea specialty store Dimbura.

This one has a tangy ginger scent that is irresistible, and it's delicious and makes me a little excited!

Before I came across this ginger, I was thinking about using Japanese dry ginger.

I wanted a little stimulation.

The dried ginger we imported this time has a stimulating and refreshing ginger scent.

You can crush it with a masher without much effort, so that was also good (*゚∀゚*)

From now on, we will inspect and pack the products in the store and sell them at the store and online shop.

I think it will take a while (...;)

It might be quite... Hurry up...

Masala Sensei's masala can also be made a lot with this!

Next time, we will talk about Uva in the quality season.
